Megan Williams is the proud owner and operator of Dance University. She began dancing at age two at a local studio in her home town of LaPorte, Texas. She later went on to dance at a competitive level where she was driven to reach the highest level of success. In high school, she was a member of the award winning Chato Drill Team where she was an officer for two years earning the title of 1st Lieutenant her senior year. She was also cast as a dancer in the musicals all four years of high school, two of which she was a head dancer. Megan then went on to study dance at Sam Houston State University where she was a member of the Orange Pride dance team winning the title of National Champions at NCAA in 2005. She began her teaching career in 2007 and has since been awarded many choreography and placements awards. Her instruction and dedication has also lead her soloists to championships at the national level. Megan enjoys each moment she spends with her students, from teaching to watching them perform on the dance floor. Megan is happily married to Bill Williams. They have two beautiful children Adissyn and Cade. Adissyn will be following in her mother's footsteps as a dancer at Dance University. megan@danceuniv.com

Jennifer Fougerousse is the business director for Dance University. She began dancing at the age of two at a local studio in Spring. She continued dancing through high school and was a member of the Pearland Prancers and then the Clear Creek Cavaliers. Jennifer went on to study nursing at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1996. Jennifer is the proud mother of two beautiful girls, Madeleine and Annemarie, both of which are award-winning dancers with many titles including National Champion, and is happily married to Steve Fougerousse. Stephanie Dunlop is originally from Pensacola, Florida, and will be graduating with her Bachelors of Arts degree in Kinesiology Sports Medicine this May from Rice University and will be attending medical school in the fall. She has been dancing since the age of 3 and been teaching hip-hop, jazz, ballet, and contemporary classes for the last 7 years. She has had a competitive dance career that resulted in various national titles for both groups and solos. She is excited to be continuing her dance choreography and teaching career with Dance University.
Chelsey Vice is originally from Massena, New York and a graduate of Point Park University with a B.A. in Dance Performance located in Pittsburgh, PA. She is currently a member of the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company. Chelsey has performed professionally with both The Houston MET and Alison Seidenstricker's ASEID located in New York, New York. She has taught at studios in Northern New York winning choreography awards starting when she was a senior in high school. She has also taught at studios in Pittsburgh PA and the greater Houston area sharing her knowledge with young dancers. Chelsey came from a strong background in the competitive world of dance as well as the concert artistic view. She thoroughly enjoys both equally and believes it is important to share this with young dancers. This way they have the passion and artistic view on dance as well as the technical power to embrace their audience while performing. She lives to teach dancers that want to learn and works to connect with students on a higher level getting to know each one as an individual. Each student has something unique to offer!

Jennifer Gartz was born in California and moved to Texas in 1995. She is a graduate of Clear Lake High School and a 2006 graduate from Baylor University. She has danced since she was in the first grade and continued with it over the years and went onto compete in both dance and cheer. Jennifer has done ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and lyrical. She has danced and competed with Texas Dance Classic as well as University Cheer Air Force. She loves to sing and dance to any type of music and absolutely loves sports. While at Baylor she sang the National Anthem at numerous sporting events. Jennifer and her husband Taylor live in Clear Lake and they have a 9 month old son, Noah.
Laine Charpentier grew up in Missouri City, TX and spent most of her childhood training, performing and competing in local dance festivals and competitions. She was a first place soloist and scholarship winner in several competitions, including Tremaine and Marching Auxiliaries. In highschool, Laine was a proud member of her drill team, The Elkins Elite, where she became the Co-Captain her senior year. Laine studied Dance at Sam Houston State University for three years, where she was a member of the award winning Orange Pride Dance Team. At 21 years old, Laine moved to New York City to attend the Independent Study Program at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater where she graduated in 2008. Laine has had the pleasure of studying and working with incredible artists such as Milton Myers, Camille A. Brown, and Beniot Swan Pouffer, to name a few. Her choreography has been featured in New York's Young Choreographer's Festival along with several other dance festivals throughout the Tri-State Area. After five years of studying and dancing professionally in New York, Laine is thrilled be be back in the Houston area where she can pursue her love of teaching. Drawing on a wealth of performing experience and well-varied education, Laine is intrigued by the opportunity to share her passion and knowledge with Dance University's students. Laine feels that, although she is the teacher, she is learning so much from her students. She gains an abundance of joy in watching them learn and grow!
